Stalker Employee in the Culinary Shop

Today I walked to a cooking store to buy a Christmas present for my mother. I get in there, and began to look around.
Suddenly, this old lady employee stood right in front of me. "May I help you?" she asked.

"No, ma'am," I answered. "I'm just looking for something to buy for my mother."

"Alright, tell me if you need anything."

That's normal, right? Well, just keep reading.

I first walked over to the candles (No, I don't really know why there were candles in a cooking shop). That lady...she STALKED me.

You see, it wouldn't have been quite so creepy if she had merely followed me. I would have understood--I'm a 15 year old girl (who looks a bit younger than that) wearing a big black trench coat who came into a cooking store (that had a bit of relatively expensive stuff) alone, carrying a somewhat large portfolio in which I could easily slide a few small display items into (not that I would ever use it for that purpose--it's just a writing portfolio). I wouldn't have been too concerned if she kinda followed me around.

But this woman tried to be SNEAKY about it. Like, I was looking at the candles. The old lady HID behind a shelf of pots and stared at me from in between the spaces in the shelf.

I started feeling creeped out, so I ditched the candles and went to another part of the store. The old lady continued to stalk me! I started looking at measuring cups, and she continued to stare at me from behind shelves.

Finally, I decided to settle with a technologically enhanced ice cream scoop (don't ask). I walked over to the front desk to pay for the stuff, and there was a lady behind the counter. "May I help you?" she asked.

I was about to say something, but then the creepy stalker lady went behind the counter, too. "No, no," she said to the other lady, and then turned to me. "I can help you."

When I got home, my father asked, "Did you get something for your mother at the cooking store?"

I was like, "Yes, but there was a really creepy lady there..."

He asked, "Did she follow you around the store?"

"How did you know?!" I demanded.

"She follows me, too," he told me.

DX CREEPY OLD STALKER WOMEN!
