Okay, so today, my mother said, "Antha, the only shirts you own are boy shirts. You need something nice to wear to church on Christmas day, so we are going to go to Khols and get you a nice, semi-girly shirt."
In my immediate family, my mother is the only one out of my father, brother, and I who is actually religious, so the only day we ever go to church is on Christmas (and sometimes easter). I'm a tomboy, and I don't have ANY girl clothing whatsoever. In my opinion, girl shirts show too much cleavage, are really annoying to try on, and it's way to hard to find things that actually fit. They also don't look very good.
So, despite the fact that I loath shopping, my mother dragged me off to Khols to buy a "nice shirt." I ended up buying a really cool black military jacket <3
But that's beside the point.
What IS the point, you ask? Well, in the store, they would play a bunch of Khols commercials over the loud speaker thing. And at the end of every single commercial, they played what must have been the worst store motto ever created.
"The more you know, the more you Khols."
What...the...flipping...hell? Is that supposed to MEAN something? Were they drunk when they thought that up? Or were they just so out of ideas that they just...chose something stupid?
Does this make sense to anyone? What are your opinions on why they made something so stupid?
I agree, it's the stupidest store motto that I've ever heard. It's so stupid that Ican't even begin to make fun of it. It makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever! While I do like the store(they usually have fairly-priced items), the motto is lame.
